We’re excited to share that our team’s work on early dementia detection was recently featured in a BBC News article.
The piece highlights the nationwide rollout of our blood test trial and includes comments from our own Dr. Maura Malpetti about the potential impact of this approach for early intervention in frontotemporal dementia.
The article also features insights from Sir Jackie Stewart, founder of Race Against Dementia, who described our research as “groundbreaking”, as well as commentary from Dr. Richard Oakley of Alzheimer’s Society on the importance of early and accurate diagnosis.
We’re grateful for this coverage which helps raise awareness about Frontotemporal dementia and the important work happening across our network of research centres.
